2007 Players

1.    Gareth Williams   Winner of the Invitation Cup Competition in 2005 & 2006. 

  2.  Gruffydd Roberts   Captain of the Amlwch A Junior team. Winner of  Amlwch Club Competitions and very keen and much improved player over the last 12 months.

 3.  Gerallt Bracegirdle Member of the Llanrug team and has one of the best techniques and attitudes in the game. 

  4.  Daniel Lowies Member of the Beach Junior Team and the Beach Reds  Anglesey League team. Played in the first Invitation Cup and reached the Semi Finals.  Back in the Invitation Cup this year after 2 successful seasons. 

5.  David Henderson Member of the Cemaes Junior Team, he has won four out of his first five matches.  It is his only his first Junior league season and his hard work and dedication to the league and coaching sessions has earned him a place this year.

 6.  Sam Tolhurst    Member of the Amlwch A Junior Team, he has won many Amlwch Knockout Competitions and has one of the best all round games for his age.  Plays at a good standard any day of the week thanks to his good technique and patience for the game.

  7.  Tomos Parry       Has  a  very  good  Invitation  Cup  record  already, reaching one final and one semi final.   He  is  back  again  this  year  after  working  very  hard  at  his game  over  the  last  12 months, showing  a  great  improvement  in  his  break  building  skills. 

8.  Stuart Jones     Captain of the Cemaes A Junior team, Stuart took part in last years Invitation Cup and came the closest to defeating the eventual winner. He gave a good performance last year and i hope he can go further this year. He has done well in his club competitions this year winning most of the knockout Singles competitions aswell as the club Billiards Competition. It is for these achievements and particularly his excellent play from last years event that has earned him a place again this year. 

9.  Dion Owen     Dion from Llanfair Pg is only 12 years old and has a very mature way of playing the game. He has one of the best safety games i have ever seen from a junior and this makes him a tough player to beat. He has Previously won the Anglesey 13 & Under Competition at the Beach club, the Anglesey League Doubles and a Junior Doubles Competition alongside a player of the same age. He is currently the vice captain of the Anglesey League's Llanfair team amd has won most of his matches. He will soon be invited to play for the Anglesey B Senior team aswell. Dion has played in the Invitation Cup for the past 2 years and has done very well, only being defeated by Tomos Parry and Gareth Williams. 

10.  Owen Bracegirdle     Owen from Llanrug has been reaching the final stages of our junior Competitions many times during the last 12 months. This continued success has earned him an invite for the third year running. He has also performed well in this seasons Gwynedd Junior league where he is currently amongst the Top 5 in the Merit table.  Owen currently plays for the Llanrug Junior team, the Senior team in the Bangor league and the Llanfair team in the Anglesey league.

 11.  Danny Griffith     Danny from Llanrug has shown good sportsmanship on many occasions when seeing him compete. It is his attitude towards the game and particularly his success in the Caernarfon Junior league this season, that has earned an invite to this years event. Danny won his first 8 league matches for his home club making him ranked number 1 in the Merit table. 

12.  Gavin Jones     Young Junior from the Penmaenmawr Club. Has had an excellent season and has worked hard to improve his game.
